Welcome back, college football fans. It was another fantastic week with 5 days of college football. Check back tonight or tomorrow for the next episode of G’s Explanation where we’ll deep dive into the playoffs.

For now, congratulations to the winner and condolences to the losers. There are now 9 bowl-eligible FBS teams (must have 6+ wins) as Pittsburgh, BYU, Penn St, Texas, Army, Oregon, and Iowa St joined the club. I do have to give a shout out to my daughter, Jo, who kept track of the games while we spent WAY too much time in the car. Our overall number 1, Texas (6-0/1) remains in place, but we have a new last place team as Citadel (2-5/263) takes over.
