Welcome back, college football fans from San Juan, Puerto Rico! We at the GCR are on a much-needed vacation. That means odd post times and different formats depending on how much time and internet service we have.

Yesterday we saw three bowls: Northwestern routed C Michigan 34-7 in the Sports Bowl, Minnesota edged New Mexico 20-17 in overtime in the Rate Bowl, and UTSA ran away with a 57-20 win over FIU in the First Responder Bowl. The GCR picked two winners, but only one against the spread. Maybe today will be more successful.
