Women’s Basketball or The Top 363 for Week 3

Welcome back sports fans to the latest edition of the GCR. We thought it would take a few more weeks for the cream to rise to the top, November schedules being what they are. Happily, although I wouldn’t say we are ready to use the GCR for predictions (maybe one more week), we are starting to see the “expected” teams near the top. To be clear, the GCR has no biases in any of the 3 manifestations, but it isn’t that hard to tell which teams have the better talent/players/strategy/execution just by watching about 10 minutes of a game here and there. We do a lot of that at the GCR in Women’s and Men’s basketball as well as football. So, when we use the word “expected” it is partly the UCONN’s and South Carolina’s in WBB, the North Carolina and Purdue in MBB, and the Ohio St’s and Georgia’s in football. It is also by watching games and seeing who stands out as a complete team with enough depth to last the season.
