Happy Sunday all of you college football fans. I will have another more detailed post later today, but I wanted to get the rankings out. My band (shameless plug: Project Detour Band on all social media) played again last night and I didn’t get in until close to 2:00. I know, there are no excuses in football, but there you go. A little bit of a shuffle at the top with the incredibly exciting Michigan St (4) win over Michigan (5). Overall 3 undefeated teams lost the bid for perfection yesterday. More to come, though. For now here is the top from Georgia (1) to Morgan St (258). Note: my background is accounting and process improvement in real life. Because of that, I believe processes should be followed as designed to do things well. That said, in my attempt to post the rankings before the polls come out and get some much needed sleep, I skipped the balancing step. When I went back to complete that, an input error gave Boston College a win over Syracuse in error. Once that correction was made, the rankings changed. I’ve updated them here. The top 4 are now Georgia, Wake Forest, Oklahoma, and Michigan St with Michigan and Alabama being the first 2 out. My sincere apologies and it won’t happen again. G
