Welcome back, college sports fans, as we look into the games of March 25, 2026. Counting today, there are just 12 more days in the college basketball season that began way back on November 1st. In those 12 games, we will see 64 games (37 for the Women and 27 for the Men) before we have our six champions. For the Men, there are 16 teams left in the NCAA, 6 left in the NIT, and the 8-team CBC starts in April. For the Women, there are 16 left in the NCAA, 8 in the WBIT, and 16 in the NIT. Today is the slowest day of the tournament season with just 3 games in total: the second half of the Men’s NIT quarterfinals and the first game of the Women’s NIT Round 3 (Sweet 16). At least we bounce back with 11 games on the schedule tomorrow.

The GCR was a perfect 2-0 predicting the Women’s games yesterday bringing the postseason total to 175-72 (.709). There were 3 games and the home team won each. Today we shift to Round 3 with La Salle at Army. In the NIT, only the Final Four games are at neutral sites. As a reminder, the Women’s NIT does not seed teams, so we have them listed as “U” in the Seeds column.

The GCR was also 2-0 for the Men’s games yesterday raising the total to 180-84 (.682). Both home teams won. The Men’s NIT plays on college campuses until the Final Four. We know two teams that will be in Indianapolis for the semi-final. Today’s games will decide who plays in the other semi. As a reminder, when the two GCR predictive metrics do not agree on a winner, we cannot predict the game. For those, we list “NPre” in the Pred column.
