G’s Week 13 Evaluation or The End is Nigh

Good morning Football Fans!! This is a special early edition of the GCR published not just out of pure excitement (I really do not like mornings) but also out of necessity. I’ll be out of pocket from about 10 minutes from now until the evening (just in time for some analytics), so this post is going to be mostly the 1-256 ranking. But first, a couple of high points and congratulations to some teams. North Dakota State (88/6) continued it’s winning streak and finished the regular season 12-0. There are still 3 undefeated teams in the FBS: Clemson (1), Ohio State (2), and LSU (3) with one game to go – we’ll look at those games closely tonight. Rice (148/115) won its first game of the season last night leaving only 2 winless teams: Texas Southern (255/126) and Akron (256/130). Texas Southern is done for the season, but Akron has one more chance (they almost pulled off a major upset against Miami of Ohio (54) losing 20-17). We’ll talk about their last game of the season tonight as well. We’ll pull in the latest number and teams who are eligible for bowls and those that aren’t. I plan on adding a few analysis elements (some that I always do, but don’t always talk about). If there’s a cut of the data you’d like to see or a question you have, send a comment and I’ll do the best I can.

If you didn’t catch it, we have, for the 3rd straight week, I think, a new #1. It is very tight at the top and we could see another change after rivalry week or championship week as well. The Playoff Teams, according to the GCR are Clemson, Ohio State, LSU, Alabama (4) with Georgia (5) and Baylor (6) just outside. With Oregon’s (22) loss to Arizona State (43), that 4th spot just became muddier. We’ll take another look at that tonight as well.

Without further ado, here is the list (with some additional fun data) from Clemson to Akron and everywhere in between. Enjoy, comment, and please share with others. If you want to text someone the link it’s http://bit.ly/2019GCR Thanks, G
