At least New Mexico (8-1/28) continued their good work beating Nevada (3-6/113) which the GCR did predict. We split Illinois (6-3/45) overtaking Nebraska (5-4/40) correctly picking the cover and Arizona (7-2/13) edging TCU (4-5/65) correctly picking the winner. Overall, 2-3 straight up and 2-3 against the spread.

We have more excitement (at least for those of us at the secret lair of the GCR) because we have first our first game between two teams in which both have already played at least two games. SIUE (2-0/331) invades Lipscomb’s (0-2/220) home court and the GCR has Lipscomb getting their first win of the season. Both of SIUE’s wins were against non-division I (ND1) opponents (Eureka and Concordia). LIP lost to SEMO 86-79 and Iowa 76-54, both on the road. Here are all the games today.

There’s even more excitement in the Women’s game because we have our first TWO predictions of the season. First, New Orleans (0-2/160) is at Texas A&M (2-0/54) which should not be close (TAM to win), and Radford (1-1/135) takes on E Kentucky (1-1/174). RAD lost at Clemson 68-47 and beat ND1 Bluefield 128-24. EKY lost at UT Marting 90-89 but won at Morehead St 63-58. This one should be close, but the GCR gives Radford the road win.
